Four recurring visits each cost $75 including labor, supplies, and allocated overhead. At a 25% target margin and no percentage fees, the four-visit package is $300 ÷ 0.75 = $400, or $100 per visit.
Separate first clean from maintenance
A first visit may involve accumulated work or extra setup. Estimate that time separately instead of spreading it invisibly across future visits.
Define the recurring package
List rooms, tasks, supplies, visit frequency, and whether travel is included. Price the total number of visits before quoting a monthly amount.
Revisit the scope
If rooms, condition, or frequency change, update the hours and costs. A lower recurring time estimate is a testable assumption, not a universal discount.
When to use this method
Estimate the first visit and the repeat visits separately. Then multiply each recurring visit’s full cost by the number of included visits before applying the package margin.
A mistake to avoid
Do not divide a monthly price by four visits if the fourth visit, travel, or supplies were never included in the cost calculation.
What this does not tell you
These are calculation examples using stated assumptions. They are not national service rates, local quotes, tax advice, or a prediction of demand. Confirm your own scope, costs, fee basis, and any local requirements before sending a price.
